Investigation On Fish Parasitic Species And Epidemiology In Guanzhong Region Of Shaanxi Province

With rapid development of aquiculture and intensive fish culture in Shaanxi province, outbreaks of many kinds of parasitic diseases frequently cause massive economic losses. Therefore, etiological study was conducted in order to find out pathogens,distribution and rule of epidemic of fish parasites. The study can offer basic reference data for fish health culture.During 2003.3 to 2006.4, the 428 fish samples which belong to 19 species derived from 10 regions of Shaanxi Guanzhong: Badu and Xian yi rivers in Baoji longxian, fish farm in Guozhong region of Baoji, Xushui river in Taibai county, Stone river reservoir in Baoji Meixian, Kangle fish market in Yanglin, goldfish farm in Xian Yang, Fish farm in Xianyang Wugong, Hujiamiao fish market in Xi'an, fish reproduction base in xi'an, Fish reproduction base of Shaanxi province in Heyang. The 19 species fishes are Tilapia, Mackerel pike, Silver carp, Bighead carp, Grass carp, Crucian, Goldfish, Carp, leather Catfish, Monopterus albus, Natter's Pirania, Richardson, Multi-scale shovel jaw fish, After Omei even dorado, Taimen, Lenok, Pallas,Chinese perch and Rainbow trout. Pathogens and epidemiology of fish parasitic disease in Shaanxi Guanzhong were firstly reported in this paper.1. Pathogens of fish parasitic diseaseThe results showed that 34 pathogens of fish parasitic disease were found, including 20 kinds of parasitic protozoa, 12 kinds of parasitic helminthes and 2 kinds parasitic crustaceans.1.1 The results showed that 20 kinds of parasitic protozoa belong to 4 classes 8 orders 9 families 11 genera. They are 1 kind of Sarcodina, namely Entamoeba ctenopharyngodoni; 2 kinds of Mastigophora, namely Trypanosoma sp. and Ichthyobodo necatrix; 2 kinds of Sporozoa, namely Myxobolus rutilus and Theloha nellus sp.; 15 kinds of Cliata, namely Chilodonella cyprinid, Hemiophrys macrostoma, Balantidium ctenopharyngodoni, Ichthoyophthirius multifiliis, Trichodinella myakkae and 10 kinds of Trichodina which including 2 kinds Trichodina spp..1.2 The results showed that 12 kinds of parasitic helminthes belong to 3 phyla 4 classes 4 orders 4 families 4 genera.
