This paper summarized effects of environmental factors on the prophenoloxidase activating system and the immune activity, discussed mainly the following theses:â‘  Effect of hypoxic stress on the immune response of the White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. â‘¡ Effect of hypoxic stress on the prophenoloxidase activating system of the White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei â‘¢ Effect of temperature on immune parameters of the white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. â‘£ Effect of temperature on the prophenoloxidase activating system of the White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei.1. Effect of hypoxic stress on the immune response of the White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. The immune response of shrimp exposed to hypoxia 1.5 mg O2 l-1,3.0 mg O2 l-1 ,and 5.5 mg O2 l-1(control) for 72 h, were measured in terms for THC (total haemocyte count), DHC (differential haemocyte counts), prophenoloxidase activity (PO), phagocytic activity, bacteriolytic and antibacterial activities in the haemolymph. The results show that hypoxic stress has a significant effect on immunological parameters (F>F0.05). As the dissolved oxygen falls, the THC, DHC, proPO, phagocytic activity , bacteriolytic and antibacterial activities decreased, but the times when they decreased significantly and inclined to stabilization were not synchronize. It is concluded that DO declined as low as 1.5 mg O2 l-1 and 3.0 mg O2 l-1 causes a depression in immune system, and increases its susceptibility to pathogen.2. Effect of hypoxic stress on the prophenoloxidase activating system of the White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. The results show that hypoxia 1.5 mg O2 l-1, 3.0 mg O2 l-1 had a significant effect on THC (total haemocyte count), DHC (differential haemocyte counts), dopamine concentrations in the haemolymph, prophenoloxidase activity (proPO) and associated factors of Litopenaeus vannamei (F>F0.05). As the dissolved oxygen falls, the THC, DHC, proPO ,serine proteinase activity, trypsin-inhibitor activity decreased, while the...
