Rape is one of the four biggest oil crops in the world. It belonged to crucifer and has great hybrid vigor. Self incompatibility and male sterility (abbreviated MS) were mainly used for hybrid F1. Using hybrid vigor to evolving new prime and high patent has already become the important method in agricultural produce. Male sterility was the best economic and useful method for hybrid breeding. There are three methods used for producing hybrid rape seed, including cytoplasm male sterility (abbreviated CMS), chemical hybridization agents (abbreviated CHA) and nucleus male sterility (abbreviated NMS). Comparing with those three ways, Method system is an important method to produce hybrid breeding programs, and dramatically increase the range of germplasm that can be utilized in development of hybrids and helped to solve the problem of micro pollen. The development of a successful CHA system must have a reliable hybridization technology. In other words, an effective CHA is bottleneck in hybrid rape research program. Screening, the working conditions, some other using factors and mechanism of action study on CHA on rape have been carried out. And we have obtained a new compounded and good CHA which named Huashaling WP. Meanwhile the mechanisms of action were researched from the variation of the plant hormones. Study on changing of the ethylene release rate of the rape GC detection after treating with New Huashaling WP ,content of plant hormones (GA3,IAA,ABA) of the rape by HPLC after treating with Huashaling WP and the changing of praline in rape anther and in rape leaf have been also carried out. All the results indicated that the dramatic variation of the hormones content induced the generation of mail sterility. The results showed:Results of selection in many CHA indicate that the effect of huashaling WP was better and huashaling WP had a wide prospect.Being of the spray value was the main factor of the male sterility rate, so a fitting concentration was used to test that can assure of safe production. The big concentration inducements could cause low male sterility rate, but high concentration inducements would damage the rape and cause low rate of sterility. The good concentration was the range 0.07 g.L-1 to 0.14 g. L-1. The result of the spray date and frequency indicated: good spray date must be decided by the condition of the seedlings. Good controls of the spray and frequency take high assurance coefficient, high rate of male sterility and high seed purity. The affect of male sterility of huashaling WP was different to different rape type and different place. The effects of WP to rapeseed were influenced by many factors. 1.4 g.L-1 was the optional concentration for Napus SW 0742 obtained by the research.
