With the thorough implement of the large-scale developing of China's western region, Sinkiang, one of the important industrial bases of fruit, will encounter greater developing program on industry of dried fruit. It is of great significance to study and develop on dried fruit sorting machine for improving the standard of industry of dried fruit in Sinkiang, and increasing the income of farmer, and the maintainable development of industry of dried fruit. So it is of great immediate significance and necessary to develop dried fruit sorting machine.The paper was aimed at the experimental research of dried fruit sorting machine. Basing on the combination method of theory and experimental determination, we analyzed text data mainly, and revealed the relation between structural parameters and test quota for supplying theoretical and experimental basis of the development of processing in dried fruit sorting machine of grid cylinder. The result showed that:1. Some specific processing properties of dried apricot,jujube and walnut were determined, including the figure size of dried fruit, the weight of a hundred dried fruit and the weight per liter of dried fruit etc. The result showed that there are great different among these types of dried fruit.2. Based on analyzing on the primary structural parameters of sorting machine, we determined that the parameters in orthorhombic test and uniform experiment are obliquity of cylinder and rev of cylinder.3. With orthorhombic test, the major-minor order which influence the dried test quota was BA and the best combination of test factors was A 4B 4.Then the major influence function is obliquity of cylinder and the optimized technological parameters for dried apricot were as follows: obliquity of cylinder is 3°and rev of cylinder is 30r/min. The major-minor order which influence the walnut test quota was AB and the best combination of test factors was A3B2. Then the major influence function is rev of cylinder and the optimized technological parameters for walnut were as follows: obliquity of cylinder is 5°and rev of cylinder is 25r/min.Through academic analysis, we understand how the type of obliquity of cylinder and rev of cylinder influence the performance of the sorting machine, and the principle of the dried fruit sorting machine.4. Through the uniform experiment, the function between the main structural parameters and the test quotas was achieved;the result showed that the best reason is: rev of cylinder is 1.95767°, obliquity of cylinder is 29r /min. Finally, through proving test, the result of test was identical with the result of mathematical equation, so the equation can be used to design processing instruments of dried fruit sorting machine.
