As a kind of characteristic vegetable originated from China, water bamboo(Zizania Latifolia) was only cultivated along Yangze River and the south areas, and consumed around the areas before 80s of 20 century. After that time, Zizania Latifolia has been introduced to many areas around China along with the planting structure's adjustment and the system of vegetable circultation's reforming. Some processed products have been exported to other countries like Japan, Korea, North America, Australia and European Union.Cadmium (Cd) and lead (Pb) are important contaminants in agricultural soil, and put great threaten to agriculture and human healfth. So the purposes of this research are mean to investigate the differences among Zizania Latifolia cultivars in translocation and accumulation of Cd and Pb. The results are useful in the breeding and selecting of Zizania Latifolia cultivars, and in other methods for reducing Zizania Latifolia Cd and Pb contamination. The main contents of this research are showed below: Studying on the differences among Jiangshu and Fenghongzao in botany index and physiological biochemical indicators. Studying on the variations among the organ oftypical Zizania Latifolia cultivars in Cd,Pb translocation with different processing time .The major results were showed as follow:1.In different concentrations of Cd, Pb treatment,the botany index just as the plant height , green leaf area ,number of stem is different . The plant height , green leaf area descended first then ascended.It was imply that on the low concentration of Cd and Pb Zizania Latifolia growed catalytic.The number of stem declined with the increase in the concentration of Cd. The number of stem first rised then ascended with the increase in the concentration of Cd. Differences exist between the two variety. Compared in different cultivation methods, the botany index of Zizania Latifolia in soil significantly less than that in matrix.2. After treated with Cd and Pb, some physiological and biochemical indices were changed, such as the contents of chlorophyll, the rate of photosynthesis, the contents of soluble proteins, the activity of root, the contents of praline and the activity of enzymes. The contents of soluble proteins, the contents of chlorophyll and the rate of photosynthesis when cultived in matrix were higher than cultived in soil, but the cell membrane permeability when cultived in matrix were lower than cultived in soil. The cell membrane permeability of root was higher than which of leaves, but the contents of soluble proteins of root were lower than which of leaves. Most physiological and biochemical indices of Fenghongzao are higher than Jiangshu. The activity of SOD, POD, PPO and PAL were raised when treated with low thickness of Cd and Pb, and descended when the thickness of Cd and Pb were raised. The results showed that low thickness Cd and Pb could accelerate the growth of plant while high thickness could restrain.3. After treated with the same thickness of Cd, the content of Cd of Leaves, stems, roots rised in processing time, and the Cd content of roots is hingher than stems and leaves in the same time after treated with Cd, the contents of Cd and Pb of fruit rised in processing time. The accumulation of Cd and Pb when cultived in matrix was lower than cultived in soil, the results showed that the matrix can absorb and fix havery matel and reduce the absorption of havery matel of plant. The contents Cd of Fenghongzao are higher than Jiangshu, but the contents of Pb of Fenghongzao are lower than Jiangshu after treated with Cd and Pb, the results showed that the absorbency of havery matel were different between different breeds. |
