This test first studys on the Ecosystem Characteristic of ten Bamboos such as Dendrocalamus minor var amoenus, Dendrocalamus minor, Bambusa wenchouesis, Bambusa blumeana, Dendrocalamus barldatus, Phyllostachys bambasoides, Phyllostachys praecox Oligostachyum lubricum, B.ventricosa, Bambusa multiplex alphonsekarri etc. in Coastal Sandy Area, and supply the theory bases for cultivating the bamboo forestry in coastal sandy. The main findings were as follows:(1) The nutrient of soil was aridin Coastal sandy area; the growth condition and adaptability of bamboo were significant lower than soil, which had succeeded planting bamboos. Howerve, from the growth indexes of ten bamboo ,ten bamboos grow well and had a broad adaptability , so it is fit for planting in coastal sandy area.(2)The water rate of ten bamboos in coast was higher, and the water rate decreased with the ages. It was because the new bamboo was on the instability and the woodiness was a maximum factor on the water rate of different organs. The water rate of branch of one year bamboo was highest and the leaf was lowest over ground, the sequence of organs under ground were stem>the stem under ground>root.(3) With the increasing of height, the biomass in one-year-old individual bamboo decreased, although increased and then decreased in two-year-old individual bamboo. In the distribution of organ biomass, the sequence was crop>branch>leaf over ground and stem>root under ground. In the distribution of biomass in bamboo forest, the D. barldatus baldpate's biomass was the main part, which reached to 43.08t · hm-2 . P. bambasoides was lowest, only 16.84 t · hm-2 .(4) The bamboo forests can adjust rainfall's distribution. Rainfall was the dominant factor, which affected interception, through fall and stem flow. In a certain rainfall class, with the increasing of rainfall, the interception, through fall and stem flow increased. The annual amount of interception was highest in Dendrocalamus. Minoand stem flow was in Dendrocalamus barldatus. But the annual amount of through fall was lowest; the cluster bamboo was higher than loosebamboo.this is correlation with closure in former and correlation with diameter of breast height. The average stem flow was which reached to 853.7 mm in D.oldhamli.(5) The water holding capacity of arbor was most in D. barldatus barldatus forest, and lowest in P. bambasoides, which reached to 28.98 t·hm-2 , 15.72 t·hm-2 respectively. The biomass of forest was the...
