Mannanoligosaccharides(MOS), Antimicrobial Peptides and Saccharic-terpenin(ST) are novel feed additives up to date. They are all potential substitutes of the common antibiotics. Effects of MOS, Antimicrobial Peptides and ST on the broiler performance, intestinal bacterial colonies and several blood indexes were determined and compared in order to determine effectiveness of these three additives as substitutes of antibiotics.1120 broilers of 1-day old were randomly assigned to 7 groups, with 4 replications each group, 40 broilers each replication. Group 1 was provided with basal diet without any antibiotics; Group 2 was provided with one kind of antibiotics with the trade name A'Ketai;Group 3 was provided with MOS (1kg/T) ;Group 4 was provided with antimicrobial peptides (7L/T) ;Group 5 was provided with ST (0.5kg/T) ;Group 6 was provided with MOS (1kg/T) + antimicrobial peptides (7L/T) ;Group 7 was provided with antimicrobial peptides (7L/T) + ST (0.5kg/T). All birds were fed their respective diets from 1-day to 45-day. Body weight was recorded at l-day,22-day and 45-day.All birds were immuned with IBV and ND bacterin at 19-day.And the antibody level of the ND virus was determined at 29-day. At 45-day, two birds of each replication were selected to phlebotomize. And after that, the birds were slaughtered to collect appendices samples for further use. The escherichia coli and bifidobacterium concentration of the appendices content were determined in the laboratory. The results were as follows:1.These three kinds of additives can promote the weight growth, solely or associate with each other. Compared with Group 1 and Group 2, Group 4 had a significant improvement on average body weight (p<0.01) .And group 4 also has a higher average body weight than other groups.2.Group 1 has a lower feed efficiency than other groups(P < 0.01). Group 4 has a higher feed efficiency than any other groups. The feed efficiency of Group 7 is higher than other Groups except for Group 4.3. At the first 22 days of the experiment, control group without any antibiotics...
