This paper adopts B-type starch slurry as raw material, and prolongs its storage time by solving the problem of sedimentation and putrescence, then it is been added in to feed by replacing some energy. It is be compared by its components and property between the different two kinds of B-type granules from Raisio techniques and Martin techniques, at the same time, we use the A-type granules as contrast. The result showed that, the non-starch elements in the B-type granules of Raisio are less than that of Martin, especially hydrophilic molecule such as protein and pentosan. As the result of these hydrophilic materials, the moisture content is less and the viscosity of the granules is lower in B-type granules of Raisio, and the Scanning Electron Microscope Patterns showed it more dispersive of granules of Raisio. From the Brabender curve we know the viscosity of B-type starch paste of Raisio is more than that of Martin. The products of two defferent kinds of technics are nearly the same in solubility, expansibility and retrogradation values, Be compared by A-type granules,B-type granules are much smaller and have less solubility and expansibility, the content of non-starch elements in B-type starch slurry is 1%-2% less than that in A-type starch slurry, and the B-type stach paste is less transparent and more prone to retrogradate. To improve the suspend stability, the B-type starch slurry is be dealed withα-amylase at 95℃and pH6.5 for an hour, then we get kinds of hydrolysates with different DE values, by compared those hydrolysates of sedimentation volumes, viscosity,OD values and shearing force stress, we found it more stable when the DE value is 11,and the hydrolysate of this DE value has proper content of reducing sugar and better fluidity. This hydrolysis degree is been confirmed finally. After homogenized at 40MPa pressure, the hydrolysate can be in nearly 1 month. There is much mildew, microzyme and lactobacillus breeding in the dealed B-type starch slurry when put in the thermostat at 28℃. It is been reported that the mildew is much bad to the animal body and must be controlled. We choose to add the antiseptic to solve the problem. This is a low-cost and convenient way. We have done some contrastive experiments by adding different antiseptics, and the scheme of adding sodium propionate has the best restrain effect. This scheme is be confirmed at last. Then we put the dealed product to the feed of large rats, and use the raw B-type starch slurry as contrast. The increased daily weight is observed and reported. The result shows that the dealed B-type starch slurry not only has better stability but also has better palatability and digestibility than raw B-type starch slurry.
