| The interferon is a sort of proteins with the functions of antiviral and immune modification which are naturally produced by body's immune system immediately following infection or vaccination. The interferon system is the first line of defense against viral infection in mammals. In general, Interferon is classified to two types account to the diversity of amino acid sequence, the antigenic and the producing cells. Interferon α / βare the major members of type â… interferon and the type II interferon is just interferon γ. Type â… interferon is famous as the potent antiviral activity and interferon gamma manifested stronger immune modification activity besides antiviral activity. Our country has the largest porcine industry in the world. But in the current, there are many infectious diseases thrusting the development of the porcine industry in our country.
