Water supply of villages and small towns is not only one of the most important basal establishment to the vast rural areas' economical & social development, but also the never-can-be-displaced physical foundation to improve the villagers' life standard, reduce the gap between urban & rural areas, and to create a stable development condition for constructing the new socialistic countries. It's quite necessary and prerequisite to plan intensively to guide the water supply systems' construction, protect the environment and exploit the water resources in reason. Two key problems of the Beijing rural areas are mainly discussed in this paper. One is the water resources' balance analysis and collocating, while the other is the water supply establishments' optimization. Based on these, it not only detailedly studies the relationships between water resources' collocating (here mainly refers to various water sources and water purposes) and water supply systems' layout in villages and small towns, but also forms a systemic, integrated model which can make the intensive water supply systems come into reality. Additionally, in order to supply the necessary technique supports, there are some dissertations about the key techniques in the above two problems as well, for example, forecast of the water needed, analysis of the water resources' balance, layout of water pipes & nets and so on. Finally, this paper applies this method to the intensive water supply planning program in Doudian town, and has made some achievements that is propitious to its sustainable development. In conclusion, based on the analysis of water resources' uses & water supply systems' construction, this paper proposes a systemic, integrated model for the intensive water supply systems, which shows a harmonious conception among water & people, urban & rural areas, needed & supply, etc. On one hand, it could be the theoretical and technical foundation for the development of water supply systems' construction in rural areas. On the other hand, it could be a demonstration for the water supply systems' design and planning in the future, too.
