With the restraining of carbon emission in the whole world, the quantitative estimation of carbon sequestration become a hot point studied. In order to efficaciously evaluate the function of forest as carbon sequestration, the veracious amount of forest carbon sequestration should be calculated. The estimation method study is of a intermediate link of quantitative forest carbon sequestration study. This study aims to create proper method that can be applied in forest carbon sequestration estimation of our country.Through analyzing the means of forest carbon sequestration estimation, the results of forest carbon sequestration differ with the estimation methods and parameter. This paper estimates the carbon content of different trees by the plant molecular formula, and estimated the forest carbon sequestration in our country using the carbon content as parameter. By using the forest resource check data and forest resources systematic model, forecasted the trend of forest carbon sequestration function of our country.This paper uses the different estimation methods and parameter, and forecasts the forest carbon sequestration function.
