Aimming at the crucial problems of causing the low yield, bad quality and difficult to produce the green vegetable or organic vegetable in soilless culture, the study using cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper analyzed and discussed the effect of organic slow-release fertilizer in the experiments of Culturing the three vegetable seedlings, key techniques cultivation in spring and autumn in greenhouse. This study got the proper quantity of organic slow-release fertilizer on the three vegetable seedling and cultivation period, and the release rule of organic slow-release fertilzer.The primarily results are as follows:The volumetric ratio vermiculite to the slow-release organic fertilizer was 30:1 in seedling period. Under the optimal ratio, the physiological indice of cucumber seedlings, such as relative prolificacy index, sound seedling index, chlorophyll content and root activity, were better.The comprehensive comparison showed that this ratio was best, and under this optimal ratio the sound seedlings of cucumber could be cultured, and the irrigation by clear water could replace the irrigation by nutrient fluid, and therefore the seedling management could be simplified.The volumetric ratio vermiculite to the slow-release organic fertilizer was 20:1 in cultivation period. Results showed that OSRF possessed the characteristics of overall supply and slow-release of nutrients. The plant height, stem diameter, leaf area, number of leaves and fresh fruit weight of OSRF were superior to those of the control. The average fresh fruit weight applied with OSRF was higher than that of the control by 35.6%.Under this ratio, the best performance of growth and yield of cucumber was achieved.The experiment indicated that vermiculite combined with organic slow-release fertilizer and circle water irrigation could substitute composted substrates with nutrient solution irrigation in large-scale production.
