With the development of agricultural economics, the problem of drying food supplies has become more and more important. Researches of mechanism equipments, especially one of which is the heat state of hot wind furnace, related with drying food supplies have become crucial.Theoretical analyzing method economic velocity is brought forward backed on the high energy consumption and low thermal efficiency of hot wind furnace. The economic velocity is put forward from the design point of view. The economic velocity is related with not only running costs, but also manufacture costs,maitaining costs,life use cycle. The dissertation put forward the function relation of economic velocity and anuual cost, calculating economic velocity with differential coefficient method. Ameliorate the furnace's configuration and make a comparison with the effect between the optimized velocity and unoptimized velocity.The dissertation analyses the sensitivity of economic velocity. Get the curve of the furnace economic velocity to the change of life use cycle,elctrovalency,anuual wok hours,difference in heat-exchange temperature and different heating loads.The analyse method and conclusion to hot wind furnace economic velocity can afford some reference to the research of heat performance.The analyse and calculation of economic velocity can afford design basis to hot wind furnace. All of these can reduce the cost of drying food supplies.
