Study And Probe On Retuning Farmlands Into Forest And Grasslands In Improving Ecological Construction In Longxi County

In the county level, the regional pattern of returning the farmlands on hills into forest and grasslands is posed from theory and method, considering the ecological, economic and social benefit synthetically, according to the natural and geological characteristic, economic and social development and demand of returning the farmland on hills into forest and grasslands and ecological construction. Entering on the general natural and geological situation of Longxi County ,the limiting factors of ecological construction are analyzed, and the site type is classfied. The basic law followed in the vegetation construction in arid and semi-arid area is expounded in detail, that is the zonal distribution law of vegetation, the consistency between the characteristic of top microclimate and the growth condition of vegetation, the relation between the corresponding runoff-collection engineering and water demand of vegetation. Based on analyzing the different site conditions and summing up the successful experience and failure message, the suited tree species, grass species and colocation pattern are selected. According to the resource advantage of agricultural industry, combining the practice of returning the farmlands on hills into forest and grasslands and the regulation of industrial structure, the developing derections on village economy are suggested, that are the industry of Chinese traditional medicinal materials, integration of the grass and stock raising ,fruit and vegetable industry and so on. Integrating the natural, ecological, social and economic factors, suggesting the pattern on returning the farmlands on hills into forest and grasslands in different regions in Longxi county, and the basic pattern and method on restoring forest and grass vegetation in the afforestation of barren hill.
