Roman layers were selected to study the effect of Vitamin C polyphosphate on layer'sproduction performance and the immunity and the anti-oxidized ability under the heatstress. The roman layers under the heat stress were randomly divided into control group,test groupⅠ,ⅡandⅢ, Vitamin C polyphosphate were separately added in term of 0mg/kg, 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg, 300 mg/kg diets to study the effect of Vitamin Cpolyphosphate on layer's production performance, antibody level and anti-oxidantcapacity. Weighing at the beginning and the end of experiment, recording the amount oflayers on hand, food intake, the number of egg production, the weight of eggs and thenumber of broken eggs, the antibody level of ND and H9 were detected weekly, at theend of the experiment, the activity of SOD and GSH-Px enzyme of the layers in serumwere detected.The result showed that the effect of Vitamin C polyphosphate on productionperformance of layer under the heat stress condition, compared with the control group,the weight of layer in the test group decreased, food intake in the testⅢgroup wasenhanced 6%(P<0.01), the number of egg production and the rate of egg productionwere separately enchanced 3.6% and 3.2%(P<0.01), The rate of broken egg, themortality rate and weightlessness rate also reduced, the testⅠgroup could improve eachindex of the layer production performance, but no significance.The results showed that the effect of Vitamin C polyphosphate on the layers antibodylevel under the heat stress condition, the effect of different dose Vitamin C polyphosphateon ND and H9 of layer in serum was not significant.The results showed that the effect of Vitamin C polyphosphate on the anti-oxidizedability of layer under the heat stress condition, Vitamin C polyphosphate could reduce theactivity of SOD in serum, when Vitamin C polyphosphate was added to 100mg/kg, thescope of reduction of the activity of SOD was lower, when Vitamin C polyphosphate wasadded to 200mg/kg, the scope of reduction of the activity of SOD was biggest, but withthe addition of Vitamin C polyphosphate, the scope of the activity of GSH-Px increasedslightly.These results suggested that the effect of the different dose of Vitamin Cpolyphosphate on the production performance, antibody level and the enzyme activity oflayer under the heat stress condition are different, this would provide a theoreticsl basisfor the reasonable use of Vitamin C polyphosphate in the aspect of practical production.
