Triploid Populus tomentosa was one of the dominant tree species developed quickly in recent years in China.It was important to study the nutrient characteristic in leaf of triploid Populus tomentosa in order to improve the ability of plantation nutrient management.This paper studied the difference of nutrient content in leaf and its seasonal variation orderliness of different clones of triploid Populus tomentosa.And discussed the impact on the nutrient of leaf in different fertilization treatment.Applied the multiple regression analysis approach to study the correlativity of nutrient content in leaf and the growth of forest.The results also showed the influence to 2-year-old triploid Populus tomentosa with different fertilization treatment,according to statistics analysis,we elicited the best quantity of N, P, K fertilizer,which offered rational fertilization for triploid Populus tomentosa and promoted the development of the triploid Populus tomentosa industry faster.The main results were as follows: (1) The difference of N, P, K, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn content in leaf of four clones (S2, S6, S8, S11) of triploid Populus tomentosa and poplar crossbreed triploid (M6) all assumed extremely significant. (2) The nutrient content in leaf of clone S2, S8 presented seasonal variation. (3) The N , P,K content in leaf of clone S2 all assumed extremely significant difference under different amount of nitrogenous fertilizer. The match of different amount of N, P, K feitilizer influenced the N, P, K content in leaf of clone S8 to a different extent. (4) According to the partial correlation coefficient between the growth of forest and leaf nutrient,the N, K content in leaf of clone S2 affected the growth of breast-height diameter mostly,and influenced the growth of tree height were Mn , P , N, Cu content.The K, N, P content in leaf of clone S8 affected the growth of breast-height diameter mostly,and influenced the growth of tree height were Ca, N content. (5) The fertilization experiment showed:urea (690g/tree) + diammonium phosphate (45g/tree) + potassium sulfate (150g/tree) were favor of the growth of triploid Populus tomentosa markedness.The order of the effect was N>P>K. (6) Single factor (nitrogenous fertilizer) fertilization experiment showed:The best quantity of nitrogenous fertilizer (urea) was 667~750g/tree.The following contents belonged to new ideas in this paper. We proceeded the nutrient analysis of leaf in the different clones of triploid Populus tomentosa,and analyzed the multiple regression correlativity between the growth of triploid Populus tomentosa and nutrient elememts contents inleaf.The study not merely brought forward the best quantity of N, P, K fertilizer to the triploid Populus tomentosa,but also proceeded single factor (nitrogenous fertilizer) fertilization experiment,and elicited the best quantity of N fertilizer.
