This research was mainly on over-cutting Spruce-Fir mixed stands in Jingouling Farm, Wangqing Forest Bureau, Jinlin Procince. The research object was to investigate the regeneration rules of Korean pine, Fir and Spruce regenerated in forest gaps and under crown, then we can direct forest production with these theories, they can play an important role in maintaining forest sustainable management.Through the investigation of 75 gaps in Spruce-Fir mixed stand in Jingouling forest fram on Changbai Mountain, the article studied on the structure of gap size and the constitution of regeneration. The results showed that the gaps in this kind of forest stand are formed of cutting. Gaps in 40~60m~2 had the most quantity; the structure of gap size was made of 2 to 3 making trees. The density of gap was average of 20.5%. So it was better to cut down 1 or 2 trees once time, which could maintain the stability of the forest ecosystem. It was conclude that after 20 years later the gap could promoted the regeneration of fir. If the gap was 22 years old then it was good for the regeneration of Korean pine,12-15years gap was better for spruce.
