| In Tianjin seashore region, the evapotranspiration(ET), appearance quality and growth index of Tall fescue , Kentucky bluegrass, creeping bentgrss and zoysia grass have been studied under 4 different irrigation treatments (W1:85%W~70%W; W2:70%W~55%W; W3:55%W~40%W; W4:40%W~ moisture lower limit. W: field moisture capacity), respectively. We aim to provide some theoretic basis for the foundation of appropriate turf irrigation regime for the region.The more the water supply, the higher the evapotranspiration .The difference among different treatments of four turfgrasses is significant (P<0.05). Under four different irrigation treatments, the tendency of the ET monthly change of 4 turfgrasses are consistent. The ET of zoysia grass under W1 treatment is significant (P<0.01) lower than the other cool-season turfgrasses, but there is small difference between different cool-season turfgrasses; and the difference of four turfgrasses is significant (P<0.05) in W4 treatment. ET of four turfgrasses in W1 is higher than ET in W4.Appearance quality, photosynthesis rate and transpiration rate, chlorophyll of four turfgrasses all increase with irrigation norm. By analyzing integration influence of turfgrass in different irrigation treatments, we ascertain W2 as the best irrigation treatment of tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass. W3 as the best irrigation treatment of creeping bentgrss and zoysia grass.In irrigation treatments W2, the total ET of tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass is 654.53mm, 703.87mm in growing seasons, and in W3, ET of creeping bentgrass and zoysia grass is 549.45mm, 362.22mm. The total rainfall in Tianjin seashore region is 452.8mm, effective rainfall is 342.7mm, winter irrigation and green return irrigation 90mm and 14154mm, so in this region the whole year net irrigation quota of tall fescue is237.55mm, Kentucky bluegrass, 278.23mm, creeping bentgrss, 237.03mm, zoysia grass, 117.56mm. |
