This article using the description law from the viewpoint of the visual landscape function, the ecology function, the amusement and rest function has established new index system of woodland landscape ecological evaluation which is different from once single visual landscape evaluation. Because of big scale ecological evaluation, no woodland inner landscape evaluation, diversity which forest woodland changes along with different season and diversity with different forest woodland these two indexes are selected. Species diversity and cumulation of dominant plant are selected for ecological function, nature,rareness,right area,stability and using resources are selected for ecology characteristic, forest woodland capability,forest woodland size,fresh air and out or in for visitor entering to forest woodland are selected for recreation function.; Traffic accessibility and service radius are selected for location condition.2. assessing index of Jinyun mountain highly reach to 0.97, value of assessing index is high, which shows forest woodland is very good and management level is relatively high and the vegetation development is good and the habitat is intact. Jinyun mountain vegetation species variety very much high, the ecological benefits perform very well.
