This experiment was conducted to study the chemical structure and biological function of copper-2-inicotinate, as to reduce the additive dosage of copper and the exhausting of copper in the excrement, providing theory support for the development of safety and efficient copper source.The present study consisted of five parts as follows:Part 1 Synthesizes of copper-2-inicotinate and structure analysisFour different methods were used to synthesize coppe-2-inicotinate.The final synthesized productions were analyzed with three methods, namely element analysis ,infrared spectroscopy analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis.They were proved to be same in term of chemical structure. Molecular formula is Cu(C6H4NO2) 2; Purity is 97.12%; Cu content is 20.15%.Part 2 Choice of effective additive dosage of copper-2-inicotinate in piglets140 piglets selected were divided into seven groups, inclouding one control group and six trial groups. Each of group included two replicates of ten piglets each. Control groud was supplied with 140mg/kg Cu from CuSO4·5H2O and Trial groupⅠtoⅥwere respectively supplied with 140,125,110,100,90 and 80mg/kg Cu from copper-2-inicotinate. The whole feeding trial continued 21 days. The results were as follows:(1) Compared with control group, ADG of trip groupⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳwere increased(p > 0.05) ,while trip group VandⅥtended to decrease.(2) Trip groupⅢ,Ⅳ,V increased ADFT by 2.30%,2.30% and 5.63% respectively(p >0.05) compared with control group,while ADFI of trip groupⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅵwere decreased by 1.25 %,7.04% and 3.22% respectively(p > 0.05) . (3) FCR of all the trip groups were lower than the control group(p > 0.05) .(4) The content of TP was higher than the control group(p > 0.05) ; At the same time, the BUN and T-CHO content tented to decrease(p > 0.05) . (5) Compared with control group, the content of CP,T-SOD and Cu/Zn-SOD were all increased(p > 0.05) . It was conclued that 90mg/kg Cu from copper-2-inicotinate had the similar effect with 140mg/kg Cu from CuSO4·5H2O on growth performance and some blood biochemical parameters. It was comfired that copper-2-inicotinate could replaced CuSO4·5H2O in piglets. The effective ultilization of Cu increased by 35.71%.Part 3 Contrast trip of three copper additives applied in piglet's phase60 piglets selected were divided into three groups, Control groud was supplied with 140 mg/kg Cu from CuSO4·5H2O, and trip groupⅠ,Ⅱwere added 90 mg/kg Cu from copper methionine and 90 mg/kg Cu from copper-2-inicotinate, As to compare with the effect of three copper additives on growth performance,blood biochemical parameters,feces copper and serum copper. The results of the feeding trial showed that the content of feces copper was lower than the control group sinificiently (p < 0.01) ,decreased 30.17%, 29.45% respectively. The other parameters were the same. The result was that 90 mg/kg Cu from copper-2-inicotinate and copper methionine had the similar effect with 140 mg/kg Cu from CuSO4·5H2O on growth performance and some blood physiolgical parameters of the piglets, but also reducing the exhausting of feces copper and the pollution to enviroment.Part 4 Effect of copper-2-inicotinate on feces copper and body copper ingrowing-finishing pigs60 growing-finishing pigs averaging 70 kg were divided into two groups, inclouding one control group and one trial group. Control groud was supplied with 25 mg/kg Cu from CuSO4·5H2O, and trip group was added 25 mg/kg Cu from copper-2-inicotinate,as to compare with feces copper and body copper. The results were as follows:(1) The content of serum copper was higher than the control group, increased by 11.89% (p > 0.05) . (2) The content of feces copper was lower than the control group sinificiently, decreased by 63.69% (p<0.01) . (3) The copper content in the liver was higher than the control group sinificiently (p < 0.01) . (4) The copper contents in the kidney,heart and muscle were lower than the control group, decreased by43.98%(p<0.05),7.22%(p>0.05) ,26.08% (p<0.01) respectively.In conclusions, copper-2-inicotinate supplementation could reduced the copper content in feces and muscle , improve the biological safety of pork.; Liver was the most important organ of storing up copper in vivo.Part 5 Effect of different copper additives on vitamins in feedThe same content of copper from copper nicotinate,copper-2-inicotinate, copper-methionine and CuSO4·5H2O was mixed with VB2 and VB6 . To determine the variety of VB2 and VB6 at 0,7,15,30 and 60 days.The result showed that the content of VB2 was decreased by 46.55% at group CuSO4·5H2O, 35.27% at group copper nicotinate, 34.73% at copper-2-inicotinate and 38.16% in copper-methionine and the content of VB6 was decreased by 50.81% at group CuSO4·5H2O, 40.22% at group copper-methionine, 39.15% at group copper nicotinate and 43.44% at group copper-2-inicotinate. It was concluded that copper-2-inicotinate was a better copper additive, which could reduce breakage to vitamins.
