| Based on the programming environment composed of Apache, PHP and MySQL, and by using PHP, JavaScript and HTML website programming language, the study implemented a web-based interactive multi-access assisted identification and information retrieval system for Bemisia tabaci parasitiods. With the helps of peanut shells and software Dynamic Domain Name Service (DDNS) , users are able to visit the website of this system via the Internet.This system possesses several features as follows: (1) It can accept any identificaiton characters and all the chosen characteristic values can be changed in any order; (2) In the meantime, it can support all kinds of characters in qualitative type or quantitative type (integer or real, with units if needed) ; and it also unifies the computing method of the identification ability of this two character types; (3) In every identification stage, this system will automatically calculate the separating power of each character, and rank characters according to how well they separate the remaining taxon; (4) It is able to display the related images in real-time on the same page, and there is no limit to the number of the character images; (5) It provides some flexibility for the administrator about the inputing data format. For example, it allows null or unknown of the state's index, ignores any spaces among the index of each state, and the "?" marker can be written either in Chinese character input mode or in English character input mode; (6) It possesses the ability to test the identification by each taxon; (7) Mark the distributions of the species of genus Encarsia or Eretmocerus on the Google Maps. Google Maps not only show standard map but also show satellite imagery. It has a really worthwhile for comparison of the geographical features among regions. |
