Based on the data of 529 standard sample plots of Larix kaempferi plantations in the mountainous areas of eastern Liaoning, stand growth and yield prediction model of Larix koempferi was developed. It can be used to forecast the growth of stand in the state of nature and the effect of growth on management measure. It can be also provided the foundation for constituting management scheme directional cultivation.Three kinds of site classes (good, medium and poor classes) and population site were studied for Larix kaempferi diameter distribution, by means of Weibull distribution. Theoretical parameters of Larix kaempferi were developed and regress equations were established. The result showed that Weibull distribution was fit good site class and population site diameter distribution was more adapted to Weibull distribution. Theoretical parameters of suitable construction distribution in Larix kaempferi stand were indicated, which provided theoretical foundation for reasonable management of Larix kaempferi. On the basis of Richards growth equation, the five parameter growth equation 23 451 (1 )y = c s i c? e ?c N ct cwere studied. It was precision test and anticipated results were standard. The equation was been able to run in forestry practice. The simulation can provide the theoretical method for the reasonable management of forest resources. In this paper, the authors discussed the various types of taper equation, using the taper equation established stand outturn tables of wood sort and their significance in develop merchantable volume tables and established the stand outturn tables of wood sorts for Japanese Larch, in combination the stand growth models, the models of distribution of stand structure and the stand nature thinning models. By testing, the precision met the requirement satisfactorily; an important foundation was given in theory for accurately grasping the stand structure of wood sorts and its change in time, adjusting the structure and setting a limit to the area of forest felting.
