This experiment studied the adaptability of tomato F-044 introduced from Israel to Hefei.Being the temperature and light lower in Hefei area than in Israel from November and March,the effect of the chilling(10℃/5℃)under low light(60μmol·m-2·s-1)on tomato seedling's growth,senile index,photosynthetic characteristics,chlorophyll fluorescence parameters,the oxidation resistance enzyme system were researched,which provided information on the adaptability of Hefei area and the ability of tolerance to chilling under low light.The main results were followed:1.The Israel tomato F-044 which were planted experimentally in Hefei shown the area-adaptability for each of its index could reach the level of the local-planted WanhongNO.3.but the practically yield was not as good as anticipation2.the treatment of chilling under low light could not only nearly restrain the growth of tomato seedlings,but also reduced the another indexes of tomato seedlings such as the stem diameter,height and PI,compared with normal group.As far as the intimidated intensity was concerned,the reduce extent at 10℃under low light were less than those under 5℃treatment;After recovering 8d,the growth of tomato seedlings can be renewed. Furthermore,the ground and underground part of WanhongNO.3 were destroyed seriously at 5℃chilling under low light,but it only happened on the ground part of F-0443.The activity of SOD and CAT fell as the temperature decreased and the time increased,on the contrary,the POD activity,the content of MDA and proline,membrane permeability were improved,and each index has different degree comeback;and the treatment of 5℃chilling under low light has more effect on plant than the treatment of 10℃chilling under low light.4.After treatment of chilling under low light,non-stomatal factors impede the use of CO2,created the accumulation of the content of intercellular CO2,as well as caused the Pn of the tomato seedling leaf drop.Compared with 10℃chilling under low light,the treatment at 5℃had led to the light inhibition generated,had caused closure of the light reaction center,as well as have begot the absorb light energy of tomato seedlings leaves in antenna thermal dissipation proportion(D)and the excess energy ratio(Ex)increased,the photochemical reaction ratio(P)mainly to the decline. 5.The light saturation point(LSP),the maximum net photosynthetic rate(Pmax)and the apparent quantum efficiency(AQY)descended after chilled under low light,but the reduce extention under 5℃was larger than under 10℃.In addition,effects of chilling under low light on the AQY and Pmax in the different variety of tomato seedlings showed that F-044 could keep in higher level than WanhongNO.3.6.The ability of tolerance to the chilling under low light in Israel tomato F-044 was stronger than that in Anhui species WanhongNO.3,forit coud keep the SOD,CAT,POD in higher activity and Pn,AQY,φPSⅡ,Prate also could in higher level,it also could keep a higher antenna thermal dissipation proportion(D).In conclusion,Israel tomato F-044 had displayed a corking adaptability to the Hefei district in the plant experimentally,it could maintain high assimilation and has a strong self-protection mechanism.After chilling under low light,...
