Reasons And Prevention Models Of Grassland Deterioration In Damao Banner, Inner Mongolia

Damao Banner is a northern and important motherland defense line for ecologywith the wilder grassland as the main and natural grassland. Because of unreasonable and artificial factors, the grassland ecosystem encounters the serious damage; the grassland deterioration and desertification turns very seriously. Currently it has become the one of national important sand sources. This article concentrated on studying the relevant problem of grassland ecosystem. The aim is to promote ecosystem developments of Damao Banner through this study, and to provide a feasible approach for arid grassland ecosystem restoration of the country.In this paper, through analyzing ecological status of natural grasslands and the problem existed in animal husbandry in Damao Banner, and the characteristic of space-time of natural grassland at pecent, the stage of grassland degeneration was established to . adopt the methodlogy to combine theory and practice for the qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results show that I there are 30.78% natural reason, 51.24%human activity, and 17.98% society factors for the grassland restoration. and activities of human which lead to grassland degeneration is the key factor. According to protectand utilizenatural grasslands rationally, the comprehensive prevetion model was provided for grassland production and animal husbandry.
