The Zhelin Lake located in the upper reaches of Xiu river, and occupies threecounties, such as Yongxiu, Wuning and Xiushui, whose area is 308Km2. The cageculture base of Zhelin Lake lied lake arm within upstream of the lake, which is thepollution-free aquaculture base of Jiangxi province. The varieties of cage culturecontained Siniperca scherzei, Ictalurus punctatus, Micropterus salmoides, Silurusmeriaionalis, and Siniperca scherzei is often exported to South Korea, the cagenumber of which is the most.The technology of pollution-free cage culture of Siniperca scherzei in the ZhelinLake had been studied in recent two years. Artificial reproduction of parent fish, theprocess of breeding fry and cage culture were investigated monthly. The supply ofbait. drug prevention and cure of disease, domestication and daily management wererecorded in detail. The relative information about cage culture of Siniperca scherzeiwas gotten by visiting the fishing population. Water was detected termly, and adultfish was examined before export. The results showed that water quality could meetthe requirement of national fishery water quality standard of China during the processof culturing siniperca scherzei, adult fish could meet the requirement of nationalrestricted scale of fish medicine remain in aquatic product and restricted scale ofpoisonous and harmful material in aquatic product standard of China. 30000kgSiniperca scherzei were gotten in 2400m2 cage culture areas in Jan. 2006, aftercareful culture management. The average weight up to 400g per fish and the survivalrate was above 95%. The price was 80yuan/kg in national market, while the price wasabout 170yuan/kg in South Korean market. The direct profit was nearly lmillionRMB.Within the culture cycle of Siniperca scherzei (2005.11~2006.11), the researchon the application of HACCP in the cage aquaculture of Siniperca scherzei in theZhelin Lake had been done, which indicated that design and construction of the base.water quality, the supply of fry and domestication, the supply of feedstuffs, drugprevention and cure of disease and daily management were the critical control points during the process of culturing Siniperca scherzei. The critical control points weremonitored, monitoring measures and results as follow:1. The basic elements of water quality (DO, water temperature, pH, SD, Nitrite,N, H2S) were detected while sampling. Water temperature arised continuously, withair temperature arising in one year, the average temperature of water surface is 9℃inJanuary, 22℃in May, the temperature is lowering to 9℃again. DO is changedbetween 6.5mg/L and 8.4mg/L, pH is held between 6.4 and 6.7. SD in and out cagekeep above 3m. The concentration of Nitrite was small than 0.005rag/L, N was smallthan 0.2mg/L and H2S was small than 0.05mg/L. Water was collected termly, and theitems were detected according to the standard of Korea(pb, Gr, Hg, Se,hexachlorocyclohexane, DDT, Polychlorinated biphenyl). The results showed thatwater in the cage culture accorded with national and South Korean water qualitystandard. It also indicated that Hg approached to the key limit compared with otheritems, so Hg must be paid more attention.2. Most of the bait may be polluted by heavy, metal because they came fromlarge lakes. Bait was collected termly and pb, Gr, Hg, Se in the bait were detected.The quality conform to the bait control norm of nation and South Korea.3. Fish was sampled termly, and items were detected according to the standard ofKorea(pb, Gr, Hg, Se, chloromycetin, hexachlorocyclohexane, DDT, HCB,oxytetracycline, polychlorinated biphenyl, malachite green, leuco-malachite green,furazolidone and its metabolism product, furacilin and its metabolism product,fumntoin and its metabolism product, furaltadoneand its metabolism product). Theresults showed that the remainer of heavy metal and medicine in Siniperca scherzeriobey to the item and criteria of inspection and quarantine on entry-exit aquatic animalof South Korea and the correspondant standard of our country.The key limit was established based on the regulation about aquatic product ofour country, and South Korea and the measure of correcting and proof process wereput forward.
