Make the cultivate Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor as the material, adopt outdoor investigation, paraffin method, intact anther observation and pollen germinates experiment, observed the flower structure characteristic, dissect characteristic, the relationship of anther size and meiosis, pollen form and pollen growth characteristic. The result showed:1. Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor have three type of sex, female, male and monoecism, the composition of monoecism were male flower and hermaphrodite flower. 59.33% of monoecism was all male flower, 40.67% of flower stalk was hermaphrodite flower, the anverage number of inflorescence was 25, male flower was 83.4%, female flower was 16.6%.2. The cardinal number of carpel of pistil was 4, the other number of the carpel were variance, the carpel number of female flower were varied to more than 4; the cardinal number of anther of stamen was 8, the other number of anther were variance.3. Florescence of different sex flower was the female flower was the longest, the next is hermaphrodite flower, the male flower is the shortest, 6 days short than female flower.4. There were different number of ovules in female flower and hermaphrodite flower ovary, but no ovules in male flower ovary.5. When the length of the anther was less than 0.1mm, the microspores were at the first time of meioses mostly; when the length of the anther was 0.1~0.2mm, microspores were at the second time of meiosis mostly, and many of them were quartet; when the length of the anther was more than 0.2mm, the meiosis was over completely, and most of the pollen were already ripe pollen.7. The pollen germination of unisexual flower was highest on the culture medium which sucrose density was at 100g/L, the pollen tube was longest and the growth speed of the pollen tube was quick when the sucrose density was at 0~50g/L, the time between 60~100min; the pollen take of hermaphrodite flower was longer when the sucrose density of culture medium was at 50~150g/l, the growth speed of the pollen tube was quick when the sucrose density was at 100g/L, the time between 40~80min; at the same time the sucrose density at 0~100g/L, the growth speed of the pollen take was quicker than the sucrose density at 150~200g/L.
