On the basis of systemtic isolation of endophytic fungi from tea, we study the endophytic fungi in the following three aspects: 1. The effect of tea variety, leaf age and chemical component on endophytic fungi. 2. Interaction of endophytic Fungi from Tea and screening of the antagonistic endophytic fungi. 3. The purification of active components of the endophytic bacteria. It was found that:(1) the isolation ration of endophytic fungi from variety Huangdan was 100%, while that of variety Fuyun-6 was only 7.5%. It shows that varieties or genetic background of Camellia sinensis significantly affect the incidence of endophytic fungi in tea leaves;(2) During the tea leaves become matured or aged, the endophytic fungal species and amount increase gradually, and they have a positive relationship, the leaf age affects the population constituent of endophytic fungi;(3) The water extraction of tea leaves differently affected the growth of the three important endophytic fungi. It implies that the chemical component is one of the factors affecting incidence and distribution of endophytic fungi in tea leaves;(4) The experiments of paring cluture and the antagonism suggested that : There are three interaction relationship between the endophytic fungi, including symbiosis,antagonism,hyperparasitism.(5) Endophytic penicillium spp. was antagonistic to Aspergillus niger and other fungal species. The fermentation liquid can inhibit 7 tested bacteria. And it had strong inhibitive activity against two pathogenic fungi of tea;(6) The fermentation liquid of the endophytic bacteria also had strong antagonism activity. It was purified by silica gel-column chromatography and HPLC.Then we get a kind of pure substance which has antimicrobial effect to the bacteria.
