Research And Development For GIS-Based Rural Resource System

This paper is the part of funding project "Make sure surveying service model project during new socialism countryside construction".Information technology is the fastest developing high&new technology over the world. It pushes the global economy to informationization based on computer and information network. Under this background, China agriculture is changing from tradition to modern. Currently, information technology is extensively applied to every field of agriculture, and agriculture informationization has been one of important marks for modern agriculture. This paper mainly uses technologies like GIS technology, RS technology, computer technology, network technology and multi-media technologies to provide a set of visible, easy-operated, and convenient information management platform for government for data management, propaganda and long-range planning by expressing ways of electric map, database and image. Meanwhile, make use of the feature which geographic information data can integrate other data to collect many kinds of countryside resources, and show rural culture and geography from multi-aspect and multi-angel by new ways, so as to actively push the instruction of countryside informationization.The main contents of this paper are to adequately and effectively use geographic information resource and industry thematic information data to build rural resource management system; develop the rural practical thematic map, set up rural fundamental information database, integrate the relevant economic society information data with rural features, closely combine the construction plan for new countryside, provide a complete rural resource information system which has the perfect collecting, processing, analyzing, managing and application though building the correct spatial database, attribute database and application system. This system can serve agriculture production, agriculture management, countryside economy development, environmental protection and construction planning, so as to realize the mode which high&new technology changes traditional agriculture management. During this process, There are several characteristics about the research of the thesis as follows:First, the mode, contents and flow of GIS which is built on the lowest administrative level—village; develop the rural resources management system serving county, town, and village three levels.Second, analysis and integrate multiple types of data products like new countryside satellite image, land use map, planning map, 3D virtual map, especially the effect on countryside land resource investigation by high resolution satellite remote sensing image.Third, creation, management and data seamless integration of basic geo-spatial database, theme database and land use database.Forth, investigate the countryside resource informationization issue of integrating industry data by GIS. Try to solve the problem that most of rural areas lack of spatial information resource. Effectively integrate the existed rural resource and lay the foundation for digital countryside.
