The drip irrigation technology under mulch film comes from Xinjiang Construction and Production Corp., which have been spread to area of 6.1 million mu. According to the eleventh five-year plan; the area will reach to 10 million mu by year of 2010, which will be the biggest country with drip irrigation and also be the biggest market to apply autocontrol drip irrigation technology under mulch film. Xinjiang have the biggest manufacturer of drip irrigation equipments in the world-----Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Company, which is the support of control valve's production and industrialization. The research to the drip irrigation system is significance for extend autocontrol water saving irrigation technology which based on the automatization status of drip irrigation in Xinjaing, the experience in popularization of drip irrigation under mulch film and autocontrol.Based on the building autocontrol drip irrigation project, emphasized on the drip irrigation cotton with big area in Xinjiang Construction and Production Corp., after investigating and analyzing, we found the bottleneck of limit to extend autocontrol drip irrigation under mulch film: the cost of the autocontrol system is too high with the high price of control valve and accessories. The research order is same with design order for drip irrigation (head part selection-emitter and lateral-control valve and manifold-mainline), the researching object is drip irrigation pipe networks (including head part, mainline, manifold, lateral, emitter etc), combining with features of the autocontrol system. After analyzing and researching to the layout of the drip irrigation system and design, we found appropriate model for autocontrol drip irrigation system, the component of the system is as following:When the water is from cannel, it's reasonable that the management area is 800 to 1200mu. But when the area is too big, suggestion is given that split those system into two or more units, and let the scale is just economical.The low flowrate drip tape with diameter 12mm and dripper spacing 0.3m is preferred in autocontrol drip irrigation system. The pressure range is suggested in 0.05to 0.1Mpa, the average working flowrate is 1 L/H or so, the dripper's flowrate should be the average working flowrate under the working pressure.The pipe networks is suggest to use mainline with thin wall, manifold with thin wall and lateral, 4〞control valve is selected for the autocontrol drip irrigation system. And every valve manages area of 30~55 mu, flowrate 60~100 m3/h, pipe with nominal working pressure of 0.25Mpa is suggested as the manifold.Thin wall PVC pipe with working pressure 0.4MPa is selected as the mainline, which is buried under ground. At running design, we chose the method of running several manifold at the same time to decrease the flowrate of every manifold in order to deduce the diameter and cost of the mainline.In the end ,the paper suggest that the manufacturer should take an emphasis on 4〞control valve as the special control valve for the autocontrol drip irrigation system. It's estimated that the cost can be decreased by 1/3 to 1/4 according to the existing price, which will be helpful to promote the development of the autocontrol drip irrigation technology.There are some problems need to be researched:The autocontrol support to the head part need more research;The parameter of control valve needs more research;Optimization for autocontrol drip irrigation system needs more research...
