The coloured sweet peppers which also called as color peppers are originally produced in Holland, and now is one of special vegetable varieties in the international market in recent years. In China, the color peppers can be cultivate widely and grow well in solar greenhouse in north area. At present, the area of color pepper planting present the remarkable growth tendency every year. But the problems of using nitrogenous fertilizer blindly and excessively exist during the planting of color peppers, which not only increasing the fanner's investment but also decreasing the yield and product quality of color peppers. Many studies had declared that the effects of different nitrogen form and different nitrogen level on the growth and development in many plants were larger.but the same studies on color pepper were rare.In this paper, we investigated the effects of five kinds of nitrogen lever on the growth and development and physiological parameters of color pepper, the main purpose was to clarifing the physiological mechanisms of different nitrogen level on color pepper plant and to select optimal nitrogen level. The results of this study were as follows:Firstly.the color pepper plants under N15 treatment (namely nitrogen employment level is 15μMTOl/L) growed well, can obtain the maximum production rate.The nitrogen employment level 15umol/L is the best nitrogen employment concentration for color peppers with soilless cultivation in greenhouse.Secondly.the nitrogen employment level in 5-15μmol/L scope, along with the nitrogen level increased, the entire nitrogen content single plant and yield increased, and plant grows well, the plant electrolyte penetration is coefficient.MDA content is lower,anti-oxidized activites and the antiscorbutic acid content and so on is higher, therefore in this density scope, increase the nitrogen fertilizer amount rightly is advantgeous to the production increase.Thirdly.when the nitrogen employment amount used is 2.5μmol/L and 20μmol/L. the adult plant's growth is not very good, the output reduces, also the plant membrance integrity reduces.the membranenature peroxidation degree intensifies,the plant in vivo anti-oxidation matter content is low.lt is explained that low(2.5μmol/L) and excessive high(20μmol/L)nitrogen supply lever are disadvantageous to the colour pepper adult plant's growth.
