The Weishan Lake is connected with the Changjiang River through the Jinghang Grand Canal. The qualities of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco in the Weishan Lake are decreasing because of the impacts made by the immigrating fishes. The Swan Lake is an artificial water-retention lake near the Yellow River Estuary . All the groups of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco in the Swan Lake came from the Yellow River because the two fresh water systems are connected each other. As we know, the Qingfeng Lake is another important cultivating base of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco in Xintai City. Recently, polluted by the pesticides, sewages and dusts from the industries, the living water environmental conditions aggravated so greatly that the quantities of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco decreased gradually. Furthermore, the new artificial propagation technologies of the fish have not been accessed. The body weights of the fish in the lake became smaller and smaller due to the extreme fishing. In order to protect and utilize the germplasm resource of them, we must investigate the population structures, the genetic diversities and the living environment conditions of the typical Pseudobagrus fulvidraco populations.Microsatellite marking technologies were utilized in this experiment. The whole genomes of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco populations coming from the Qingfeng Lake ,the Weishan Lake, and the Swan Lake were scanned after the microsatellite marking primers of thirty pairs of carps were chosen. Six microsatellite valid primers were gained and utilized to investigate the hereditary constitutions, genetic diversities and relationships of three Pseudobagrus fulvidraco populations. The investigational results as follow:Ninteen primers were selected from thirty primers and six of them were polymorphic. The similarity index and the genetic distances of the three Pseudobagrus fulvidraco populations were figured out. The genetic similarity index between TE population and QF population was the highest(0.7987) among three populations, and their genetic distance was the lowest(0.2013); On the other hand, the genetic similarity index between WS population and QF population was the lowest(0.7284), and their genetic distance was the highest(0.2716). Based on the SSRs results, we built the cluster analysis of the three Pseudobagrus fulvidraco populations by UPGMA method. It indicated that the relationship between Swan Lake fish population and Qingfeng Lake fish population is relatively near.
