This article stuided the relationship between the morphological structure of different kiwifruit variety and their resisance to the bacterial ulcer,the main results are as follows.1.The resistance of several kiwifruit varieties to kiwifruit bacterial ulcer caused by Pseuomonas syringae pv.ActinidaeResistance of several varieties of kiwifruit to kiwifruit bacterial ulcer were studied by other researchers by means of natural infection identification and investigation in the field. The results showed that "Jinkui" were high-resisted."Zaoxian" was intermediate."Kuimi'" was middle-resisted,"Huamei No.2" and "Haiward" were middle-suscepted."Qinmei"" and "Jinfeng were high-susceped.2.The morphological structures resistance mechanism of several kiwifruit varieties to kiwifruitThe results showed that the density,length and array mode of branch lenticel had significant differences in resistance to kiwifruit bacterial ulcer caused by by Pseuomonas syringae pv.actinidae among the cultivars;the thickness of cell thin-wall had in some correlation with the disease resistance.The annual twig skin hole of high-resistance cultivar "Jinkui'is thin small and sparely and distributed.The annual twig high-susceptibility cultivar "Jinfeng"has thick-long,dense- distributed skin holes,and big protuberance.The study through the application of freezing tissue slice method to tile microstructure of twig showed that the cell thin-wall of high-resistance cultivar "Jinkui" is thin,but the cell thin-wall of high-susceptibility cultivar "Jinfeng" is thick.3 The physiological and biochemical resistant mechanism of several kiwifruit cultivars to kiwifruit bacterial ulcer caused by Pseuomonas syringae pv.ActinidaeThe result showedenzyme activities of POD,SOD,CAT,in resistant cultivars were lower than susceptible cultivars.Using polyacrylate gel electrophoresis(PAGE)and analyzing technique of the isozyme to study the variations of isozyme spectra of POD and SOD in kiwifruit plant,In the result showed that in section C of the isozyme spectra POD had two bands respectively in the annual twig age of both susceptible and resistant cultivars,but there were also differences with regard to both width and color.Isozyme bands of susceptible cultivars were black in color and wide in width yet the isozyme bands of resistant cultivars were light black in color and narrow in width.The SOD had only 1 band,and the isozyme bands of susceptible cultivars were bright in color and strong in activity.
