Study On Regulation Of Plant Growth Regulators On Nicotine Content And Main Quality Characters Of Tobacco Leaf

The experiments were carried out on the experiment farm,greenhouse,netroom of USTC and Yanglin town,XuanCheng city in AnHui province,from year 2005 to year 2007.By using the principle and methods of tobacco chemistry,pathology, biochemistry,tobacco cultivation,tobacco biochemistry,Principle of nourishment in flue-cured tobacco,to study the technology of chemical control of improvement of upper leaf in flue-cured by the port and farm experiments.The main results as follows:1.The accumulation dynamical of the main chemical compounds after topping in flue-cured tobacco were studied,The results were as follows:Firstly,the variety dynamic of nicotine content in flue-cured tobacco apparatus were studied,Topping may help to increase nicotine content in all apparatus,and nicotine content in all apparatus increased after Catholicon were used.Nicotine content were topping＞Catholicon＞no-topping.Secondly,synthesize speed of nicotine in tobacco plant were studied,in initial stages the speed was big,as the time goes,the speed came down.The speed was topping＞Catholicon＞no-topping.It means that toping can speedup nicotine synthesizing.Thirdly,after some physiology index were studied,after topping root vigor,NR and dissociative amino acid content increased,Catholicon inrease root vigor,NR and dissociative amino acid content.2.After different plant hormone used,both physical property and chemical composition of tobacco leaf were improved,for example,thicknes and weight of unit acreage remarkably reduces;K₂O content,reducing sugar and total sugar increased, the total nitrogen content nicotine content decreased,chlorine element content is suitable,th echemical composition and quality target conforms to the highquality leaf tobacco standard;The economical character investigationre sult indicated that,after the different plant growth matter use,both price and yiele wereincreased.K₁play a best action in all these plant hormone.3.Effects of different number of Catholicon were studied,the results showed that,1 Catholicon and 2 Catholicon make a big yield and hight price.percent of middle and upper-class leaf increased,and reducing sugar content increased,total nitrogen content nicotine content decreased,and K₂O content,reducing sugar and total sugar increased.In a conclusion,insert 1 Catholicon and insert 2 Catholicon are superior to others number.
