| In forest, different species has different generation modes and mechanisms. Because ofprocreation character difference and the long-term adaptation to environment, they haveformed their own dispersal pattern, which had affected the seedling pattern and finally resultedin the changes of landscape. In 2005 and 2006 summer, 50 plots were sited randomly in Zhangjia Gou catchment, andthe data of seedlings of different species were collected in secondary forest to analyze thedistribution of seedlings, the spatial pattern of seedlings and the relationship between seedlingdistribution and topographic. The results indicated: regeneration seedlings structured well andhad some degree topographic patterns, but it was affected by plant distribution and base area. There were aggregate distribution of plants in catchment and seedlings in small area; the plotswhich regeneration seedlings and the plots plants settled were not absolutely superposed, below 50ï¼…, except Acer mono. Regeneration quantities were affected by plant base areastrongly. There was significantly spatial heterogeneity of regeneration seedlings. According to theKriging map of seedling density pattern, the aggregative extent enhanced with the scalechanged. And in every scale, the seedling aggregated higher than plants.Regeneration seedlings height had obvious spatial heterogeneity in small scales. The mosaicsof high height and of low height were not distributed continuously. The pattern intensity wassmaller and the complexity was lower. The distributions of seedlings were closely related to terrain. Based on the topographiccharacter, distribution of regeneration seedlings was affected by altitude, aspect and slope.Forest regeneration is one of the important traits and one of the important processes of forestecosystem. Through spatial analysis, getting the extent and scale of spatial heterogeneity washelpful for explaining the potential rule of forest ecosystem. Research on forest regenerationpattern and process and spatial heterogeneity has important ecology academic meanings. |
