An experiment was designed to study the effects of Effective Microorganisms , Lactein and Zinc oxide (ZnO) on the growth performance , Immune Response , apparent digestibility of nutrient and the microbial population in early-weaned piglets . A total of 144 crossed piglets (Duroc×Landrance×Large white) with 21 days of age , (6.84±0.53) kg BW(P>0.05) were divided into 6 groups , with 3 replicates per treatment by weight and gender . The basal diet was corn-soybean meal . The first group was fed with basal diets adding 100 mg/kg chlortetracycline , which is a negative control . The second and the third group were fed with basal diets adding Effective Microorganisms (300㎎/㎏), Lactein (2500㎎/㎏)respectively . The fourth , fifth and the sixth group were fed with basal diets adding 900㎎/㎏, 1800㎎/㎏ , 3400㎎/㎏ ZnO respectively .The results showed that : (1)As to the control group , the average daily gain trail groups adding Lactein or ZnO (1800㎎/㎏, 3400㎎/㎏) were significantly improved (P<0.05) , the diarrhea rate of trail groups significantly decreased (P<0.05) , and the feed conversion also improved in varying degrees . The average feed intake was increased but not significantly . There is no negative influence on the growth performance when the addition level of ZnO decreased from 3400 mg/kg to 1800㎎/㎏ . The Effective Microorganisms group and ZnO (900㎎/㎏) group also can improve the performance at some extent , but not significantly . (2) As to the control group , the immunoglobulin level was enhanced at different extent . The specific immune response was improved . Immunoglobulin G level increased significantly feeding ZnO(900㎎/㎏ , 1800㎎/㎏ , 3400㎎/㎏) . Immunoglobulin G level was improved with the addition level of ZnO increasing , but there is no significant difference . (3) The apparent digestibility of dry matter , crude protein and ether extract was promoted obviously , and the feed additives( Effective Microorganisms , Lactein and ZnO) in the diets improved the apparent digestibility of general energy , calcium and total-phosphorus at some extent (P>0.05) . (4) The escherichia coli decreased significantly . The Lactobacilli and Bifidobacterium were increased(P>0.05) . Therefore , the feed additives(Effective Microorganisms , Lactein and ZnO) improved the microecological environment of gastrointestinal tract .
