The insecticidal activity, mechanism of action, chemical ingredients,structure-activity relationship, product development and environmental and ecological safety of savin(Sabina vulgaris Ant.) were preceding studied, which was an excellent insecticidal plant found by recent years. The results indicated that savin extractions and the main insecticidal products had high insecticidal toxicity, broad spectrum insecticide, multiple modes, unique mechanism of action and good environmental and ecological safety,so it was worth further reasearched. Aiming at to reaserch the other insecticidal activities of compounds from plant savin, the dissertation focused particularlily on isolation and identified of insecticidal compounds from savin by activity tracking on the basises of front-end study. Moreover, the insecticidal and fungicidal of these compounds were tested. The results showed as follows:1. Appling insecticidal activity tracing, 15 compounds were isolated from theA1~A6 of chloroform extracts and petroleum ether extracts of savin berries. Chemical construction of 13 of them were identified with authentic samples or spectrum technology, including 10 diterpenoids and 3 coumarins. Among them,3 compounds: 9β, 13β-endoperoxide-8(14)- abieten-3-one,7,13-dihydroxy-8(14)-abieten-3-one and 15- methoxy-abieta-7,13-dien-3-one were new nature products. 3 compounds:13β,14β-epoxyabiet-7-en-19,6β-olide ,7α-hydroabieta-8,11,13-triene-3-one,19-acetoxy-13-epimanoyl oxide were first isolated from the savin plant.2. Antifeedant activities of isolated compounds were assayed against the larvae of Mythimna separata L. and Pieris rapae L.. Among them, the antifeedant activities of 6 compounds were first reported. The 6 compounds included 9β,13β-endoperoxide -8(14)- abieten-3-one,7,13-dihydroxy-8(14)-abieten-3-one,15-methoxy–abieta - 7,13-dien-3-one ,13β,14β-epoxyabiet -7-en-19,6β-olide,7α-hydroabieta -8,11,13 -triene-3-one,19-acetoxy -13-epimanoyl oxide. The results showed that diterpenoids and coumarins from the plant had certain activity, and coumarins activities higher than diterpenoids. The activity of coumasabin was higher than 3-methoxy coumasabin and 8-methoxy coumasabin. The 24h and 48h AFC50 (concentration for 50% antifeedant activity)of coumasabin were separately 0.09 mg·mL-1and 0.05 mg·mL-1against the larvae of Mythimna separata L.,which were 1/7.9 and 1/12.6 times that of deoxypodophyllotoxin. The activities of 3-methoxy coumasabin and 8-methoxy coumasabin were equal to that of deoxypodophyllotoxin.3. Antifugal virulence of 10 diterpenoids were assayed against spore bourgeon of Botrytis cinerea. The results showed that diterpenoids had certain antifugal activity. The antifugal activity of 3 compounds : 7,13-dihydroxy-8(14)-abieten -3-one, abieta -7,13- dien -3-one, 19- acetoxy-13- epimanoyl oxide were over 60%.From the study we reach the conclusion that diterpenoids and coumarins had certain insecticidal activities, and insecticidal activity of diterpenoids lower than ligans which were much high in savin , insecticidal activity of coumarins higher than ligans or equal to them. Savin contains plenty of diterpenoids whether it does include the higher biological activity compound also to be worth further studied. Moreover, coumarins possibly is an important insecticidal activity compounds in savin .Therefore the insecticidal activity and the action mechanism of coumarins should be studied and to seek a higher active compounds.
