In order for development and extension of rice straw bio-organic fertilizers for vegetables, thepaper deals with the effects of rice straw bio-organic fertilizers on the Chlorophyll content, key enzymes (such as sucrose synthase, sucrose phosphate synthase and nitrate reductase(NR))of carbon-nitrogen metabolism, root characteristics (such as TTC reductive intensity, nitratereductase activity and the total area of absorbtion and active area of absorbtion ), phloem sapcharacteristics (the content of free amino acid, soluble sugar and soluble protein), yields and quality(such as the content of vitamin C, soluble sugar, nitrate, inferior nitrate, coarse fibred) oflettuce, eggplant and radish using field plot experiment on the basis of the past experments. Themain results were reported as follows:1. By using the rice straw bio-organic fertilizers, the content of chlorophyll of the functionleaves were increased, the activities of sucrose synthase(SS) and sucrose phosphatesynthase(SPS) and nitrate reductase(NR) could been significantly enhanced compared to thetreatments of chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer practice.2. By using the rice straw bio-organic fertilizers, The TTC reductive intensity could beenincreased by 5.65%-58.26% and 4.32%-125.19% than that of the treatments treated withchemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer, The nitrate reductase (NR) activity could beenincreased by 4.88%-78.61% and 0.33%-81.83% than that of the treatments treated withchemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer, The total area of absorbtion and active area ofabsorbtion could been also increased compared to the treatments of chemical fertilizer andorganic fertilizer practice.3. The content of free amino acid, soluble sugar and soluble protein of vegetables phloem sapcould been enhanced by using the rice straw bio-organic fertilizer, compared to the treatmentsof chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer practice, the content of free amino acid could beenenhanced by 6.28%-81.44% and 4.14%-32.08% respectively, the content of soluble sugar couldbeen enhanced by 10.31%-79.10% and 3.13%-43.03% respectively, the content of soluble proteincould been enhanced by 7.08%-28.57% and 8.58%-26.64% respectively.4. The growth could been promoted and the yields of vegetables could been increased by using rice straw bio-organic fertilizers. The yields of vegetables treated with rice straw bio-organicfertilizers were 4.48%-26.32% and 6.01%-29.19% higher than that of the treatments oforganic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer practice, the significant differences of the yields ofvegetables were observed between the treatment of rice straw bio-organic fertilizers and thetreatments of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer practice.5. By using rice straw bio-organic fertilizers, the content of Vc and soluble sugar could beensignificantly increased, and the accumulation of nitrate and inferior nitrate and remainadequate coarse fibre content in esculent part of vegetables could been decreased compared tothe treatments of chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer practice. It could obviously promotenutrient and health quality of vegetables.
