This paper selected 40 KunMing mice and 120 Wistar mice, aged the same, to reseach the acute toxic and subchronic toxic test of the Allium mongilicum Regel extracts. Prefeeding 7d, and the experiment separately lasted 14d and 120d.The mice were divided into ten groups: control group, water soluble, fat soluble and mixed group (low group middle group and high group).Feeding the mice by lavaging and mixing the extracts into feeds. Though observe the ingestion and wool brightness, note the number of diseased mice and died mice to calculate the LD50. Each 30d took blood from heart, after the experiment executed the mice. Though observe general circs and measure the feeds utilization ratio, blood biochemical index(GOT,GPT,AKP,BUN,creatinine,total protein,albumin,globin), blood routine (WBC, RBC, Hb, HCT, PLT), in order to detecting the general toxicity of Allium mongilicum Regel extracts on mice and estimate its security. The results indicated that:In acute toxic test, during the test period it had not caused rats any clinical poisoning performance and dead. Anatomised the mice showed that several mice liver was slightly swell, kidney had mild gored by microscopical. Organ coefficient, water soluble low group was significantly higher than control group in liver coefficient (P<0.05). Spleen ratio fat soluble middle group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05).In sub-chronic toxicity test, the general circs were as the same as in acute toxic test. In the first period, blood routine was normal, feeds utilization ratio water soluble low group and fat soluble high group significantly higher than control group(P<0.05), there were no significance between the three mixed groups and control group (P>0.05). GOT and GPT, there are different significance between the additional groups and the control group (P<0.05), but they all normal. AKP each additional group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), total pro and albumin were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). Globin was opposite (P<0.05). Male mice were significantly higher than female mice in majority (P<0.05). The second and the last period had the similar results. Blood routine fat soluble middle and high group, mixed high group were significantly lower than the control group and normal quantity (P<0.05). There were different significance between the additional and the control group (P<0.05), but each index quantity were normal and changed slowly. Most additional groups'major organ had hemorrhage by macroscopical. Slightly swell was found in liver. There were minority mice's liver cells were died, there were new cells and bile canaliculus appeared by microscopical. There were dead cells in kidney. It was identical with biochemical index.
