The experiment material Reineckia carnea comes from different light conditions in the edge of forest, undergrowth in sparse forest and undergrowth within dense forest. In the experiment, full sunlight is as comparison, the three different habitat Reineckia carnea is at different shading level(45%shadeing, 65%shading, 95%shading). Excepting this Reineckia carnea undergrowth within dense forest is in three nourishing liquid levels setted up as water, 1/2 of the nourishing liquid and whole nourishing liquid. The results are summarized as follows:1.The three different habitat Reineckia carnea in the different shading level, the ramet number, ramet height, number of leaves, length of leaves increase with increasing shading intensity and the four parameters achieve maximum in the 65% or 95% shading level. Besides this the number of leaves of the three different habitat Reineckia carnea has significant difference in different shading levels, length of rhizome and diameter of rhizome have no significant difference.The three different habitat Reineckia carnea in the same shading level shows that ramet height, number of leaves, length of leaves and diameter of rhizome of Reineckia carnea undergrowth within dense forest are larger than the other two kinds. Ramet height and diameter of rhizome have significant difference between the three habitat. It indicates that the difference between habitat is significant to the growth of Reineckia carnea and Reineckia carnea undergrowth within forest grow better.2.The three different habitat Reineckia carnea in different shading intensity, the content of chlb increase and the ratio of chla/b decreases comparing to in full sunlight. It indicates that Reineckia carnea suit for darkness and it has the ability of shade tolerance. The content of chlb achieves maximum in 45%shading level.Excepting this in the same shading intensity, the content of chlb of undergrowth within dense forest is largest, the ratio of chla/b is smallest and the shade tolerance is strongest. It shows some morphological adaptability with varying light intensity to suit for darkness.3.Reineckia carnea in the three nourishing liquid levels shows that the growing condition of number of leaves, length of leaves and diameter of root in whole nourishing liquid is superior to in water and 1/2 of nourishing liquid. The width of leaves in the three nourishing liquid levels is at the same almost. It is concluded that Reineckia carnea can adapt to the environment and it has good growing condition in water.4.In the three nourishing liquid levels, the content of soluble sugar and root vigor increase rapidly with time passed away. Root vigor has no significant differences in the three nourishing liquid. The content of soluble sugar is highest in water, the rank is in water>1/2 of nourishing liquid>whole nourishing liquid. The content in water and 1/2 of nourishing liquid has the best remarkable difference (P<0.01) and the content in water and whole nourishing liquid has a significant difference (P<0.05).
