Taking the same age Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis which are located in irrigation canal and draination canal as the studying material, under the natural growth situation, to study the distribution characteristic of ions in every organ of Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis, and analyze the relation between ions concentration and soil salinity under different soil salinity for moving characteristic of Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis to K+, Na+, Ca2+ and Mg2+. Results are indicated:(1) Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis has very strong absorption selectivity to K+. But Na+ concentration is excessive in soil, to make Na+ passively being absorbed, still has more Na+ entered root. Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis has a little higher absorption selectivity to Mg2+ than Ca2+.(2)Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis has a high selectivity to the transportation of salinity ions. Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis has very strong transportation selectivity to K+ in the process that the ions are transported from root to the sapwood, Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis has stronger transportation selectivity to K+ and Mg2+ in the process that the ions are transported from sapwood to branch, Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis has stronger transportation selectivity to Ca2+and Mg2+ in the process that the ions are transported from branches to leaves.(3) The absorption of root to salinity ions and the transporting mechanism of salinity ions in trees are different, ultimately, the distribution of solubility ions and the accumulation situation of ions in ash are different. To solubility salt ions, The K+,Ca2+,Mg2+ concentration in Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis are maximal in leveas, are minimal in sapwood, Na+ is maximal in roots. To the salt ions in ash, K, Na, Ca, Mg concentration are higher than solubility K,Na,Ca,Mg concentration in every organ, Na concentration is minimal in ash of the ground organ of Populus alba L. var.pyramidalis, Ca concentration is maximal in roots.
