The research were to detect the phenotypic inheritance and gene effect of A-9 fatty acid desaturate on breast muscle fatty acid trait, t, meat quality, growth, carcass, body measurement, shank color and feather color using a segregation population of GUSHI-ANKA half-sib family resource design. Information of major gene, gene number, additive effect, molecular marker was developed and evaluated based on data of phenotype and molecular identification of fatty acid trait. The results were as follows.This experimental population included 860 segregation progenies derived from seven families. The mean of fatty acid content was 3.834, with the highest content10.099, the lowest content 0.9603 and the coefficient of variability was 0.34 calculated from 767valid records statistically. The fatty acid contents of F2 generation from GuShi grandmothers were lightly higher than that from ANKA grandmothers, but there were no differences between them (P>0.05), such as A, B, E family, indicating not only the consistence of trait researched from the same male parents, but also the variance between different female parents. In generation F2, the contents of fatty acid were not different significantly (P>0.05 ) .The study found that the effect of female characters in the muscle fatty acid Phenotype value,with the development of industrial production,because of good quality ,select Gushi succulent chicken varieties do male parents, and the high growth rate of other species do female parents, and then produce merchandise quality chicken. Based on the Controlling quantitative traits gene and control the quality of the genetic traits sometimes there will be a linkage to the genetics theory, that the group plumage color traits muscle fatty acid may exist between certain traits linkage.From the fatty acids in the muscles of Phenotype and genotype value of fatty acid deposition, meat quality, carcass traits, Shank, feather color, Size of characters,ang drawn F2 groups oleic acid value and the heart weight was significantly negatively correlated (P<0.05), and the rate of breast, all net bore heavy loads half net weight, spleen, stomach muscle weight was not significantly negatively correlated (P <0.05); oleic acid value in F2 groups were significantly correlated with shank girth;with shank length was significantly negatively correlated (P <0.05), and pelvic width, chest width, chest deep, body length, long sternum, chest angle showed no significant negative correlation (P >0.05); Pectoral oleic acid value of phenotypic traits and lipid bandwidth, skinfold thickness, intramuscular fat was negatively correlated, and with the percentage of abdominal fat were significantly related (P<0.05); Pectoral oleic acid value of phenotypic traits and shear strength values, the rate of water loss, muscle fiber diameter was not significantly negatively correlated(P>0.05).Inheritance analysis of A-9 fatty acid desaturate gene. There was some bp changed in the second extron ofΔ-9 fatty acid desaturate gene was detected using PCR-SSCP method. Two alleles, designated as A and B, constructing three genotypes, were distributed with Hard-Weinberg equilibrium among F2 population. and the frequencies of BB, heterozygosity, Genetic polymorphism information content were 0.317, 0.089, 0.585, respectively, with intermediated Genetic polymorphism information content. The genotypes, detected from 380 of total experimental population, influenced significantly fatty acid content(P<0.05), and fatty acid content of chickens carrying BB was higher than that of AB(P<0.05) and AA ( P<0.05) . n every family, the genotypic effect was not consistent, and fatty acid content significantly different only in B family, E family(P<0.05) whereas not significant in families else (P>0.05) .Major gene and molecular marker of oleic acid trait. Distribution of phenotypic values of oleic acid trait in F2 population characterized right skewly, low kurtosisly. Phenotype segregation and variance analysis in families presumed oleic acid trait controlled by major genes and two pairs of alleles for this research population., based on F2 population by single marker regress analysis, and the former was primary significantly(P<0.05), The results of this study suggest that A-9 fatty acid desaturate gene should be a major gene or linkage to it controll fatty acid trait and worthy of being further studies as a molecular marker.
