With the rapid development of Genetics technolodgy, in most fields ofBiology, especially in the field of cultivate crops, the biologists couldcultivate ideal hybrid by using gene hybrid technolodgy. At present, morethan 95% of maize in U.S. is cultivated by gene hybrid which also plays animportant role in rice. We can produce hybrid with high production, highquality, drought-resistant and drought control performance characteristics tosolvetheworldrapidpopulationgrowthissues.LYP9 is a kind of super hybrid rice that is cultivated by Chinese ricebreeding experts. The production of LYP9 is 15% more than other spreadbreeded rice's. Its father is India rice 93-11 and its mother is PA64 whichhas background of India rice, japonica rice and Javanese rice. The offspringhas both its parents'advantages. But it is still an unsolved problem to figureout the exact gene which controlls the expressed characristic. This requiresbiologists do a lot of experiments to pick up large genic information data. Ihope that the web site visitor could analyze and compare these data throughInernet and figure out genes which can control chatacters and expressadvantages from its parents. Therefore, with the requirements above andproblemstosolveinfuture,HRGDAnalysisPlatformisdeveloped.HRGD Analysis Platform is based on B/S(Browser/Server) architecture,uses MVC(Model-View-Control) designed model on J2EE platform and isdeveloped by J2EE technology. Web application is rapid developmentbecause of manyadvantages such as easyused, versatility, better extand andso on, and it is becoming main stream technology in Information Systemapplied by enterprise. J2EE is a kind of architecture to predigest manycomplexed problems such as the development, deployment and managementofEnterpriseSolutions. It supplies enterprise-level computingmodel andtheoperating environment to develop and deploy the application of multi-levelarchitecture. The typical J2EE criterion defines four levels. They are clientlayer, Web layer, operation layer and data layer. MVC is becoming arecommendatory designed model on J2EE platform. It separates an appliedinput,disposeandoutputaccordingtothewayof MVC,andseparates it intomodel layer, view layer and control layer to enhance extend of applicationand supply the possibility and help for function extensions and maintenanceofthedevelopmentplatformlately.This dissertation specifies many J2EE technologies used in HRGDAnalysis Platform such as JSP, JavaBean and so on. How each moduleimplements functions at background and the page displays at foreground,and how to control errors by using JavaScript. The database is supported byMySQL, and the platform operates database with Hibernate. All these choices are good technologis for network development, and also supplytechnological support for optimization and individuation.This dissertation analyzes requirements and design of HRGD AnalysisPlatform in the way of software engineering, and then specifies the processof final implement and the data stream through some main modules. Overall,I have completed the following work:1. In order to understand the significance of HRGD Analysis Platform, Ihave analyzed some bioinformatic background and technologis, such as ESTand SAGE which are two main stream technologies of gene tags extraction.Then I have compared genes in the same tissue of two generations which areLYP9 and its parents by experimental data and analyzed differential ratio ofthese genes that we can estimate differential expressed genes in the sametissue and what conduct crops charactors. From what I hava dipicted abovewe can understand the whole process of the experiment. From the maintechnologies of gene tags extraction, we can definitude how these data storedin database and how to use and analyze these data.2. Through analyzing the requirement of HRGD Analysis Platform inthe angle of software engineering, I have raised the feasibility and necessityto develop with J2EE technology and in the platform of J2EE. Next, frombiologists'requirements I have analyzed biological tools in this platform tocomplete functional needs and supply the wished result data.3. I have designed the whole platform through the requirementsmentioned above including model design, structure design, function designand database design. The advantages of MVC have been specified beforeplatform design. In order to serve users better I have designed operationalprocess of some main module. Then I have specified the reasons andnecessity to use Hibernate when access database for persisting data. At last, Ihave listed the function of each table in database.4. I have specified implementation of HRGD Analysis Platformincluding interface design, logical processing in background andimplementation of database. I have introduced some methods to make theinterface be friendlier. In order to make the operational processing be moreunderstandable, I have illuminated the flow in background and drew apicture to show relationship of each table. Then I have designed all fields ofeach table, figure out the meaning of the fields and how these fields stored indatabase. To make the working mode and development flow of the wholeplatform be more apprehended, I have specified the code of Tool module andanalyze function of each Session Bean.In conclusion, the design of HRGD Analysis Platform is rational anduseful. I have finished the basic comparision and analysis of biological data and the function is according with demand of users. HRGD AnalysisPlatform is of high stability, reliability and retractility. It can add modules byrequirements in future and also brings convinence to users and gives thembetter and effective services.
