In this paper, tests on the effect of different phosphorus nutrition concentration or spurting hormone on growth and physiology characteristics of aquiculture cotton have been done by using the cotton species Xinluzao13 cotton and Zhong cotton 36. The results are as follows:1. The high level of phosphorus can increase the plant height, root length and volume, the chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll content, root activity, root area and the total absorption area of activity, and it can also promot the N, P, K accumulation of cotton during the growing period.2. The endogenous hormones content is changing in different growing periods and plant organ. The GA, Z and IAA contents of cotton leaves change largely. Cotton synthesises more GA, IAA to alleviate the phosphorus stress, high phosphorus level improves the content of Z.The Z/IAA value of high phosphorus treatment is bigger than that of low phosphorus level one, the GA/IAA, Z/IAA value of low phosphorus level treatment reach to the minimum at flowering. At different periods, the endogenous hormones have relevance with the N, P, K absorption, at flowering the correlation is significant.3. Spraying different concentrations of hormone can promote the cotton stump high, but has no obvious influence on the root length. Effects of hormones on the chlorophyll content of the two cotton species are changing with the time, at seedlings the chlorophyll content is enhanced, but not increased in the bud stage. The endogenous hormones content and N,P,K accumulation of cotton plant change with the spraying hormones content and time.
