Plant hormones can not only regulate the growth and development of plant, but also remit the damage of plants from biotic and abiotic stress. Plant hormones are also important to the growth and development of grape. Auxin and gibberellin can regulate the division of grape cell and the growth of grape, abscisic acid can improve the maturation of grape berry. But recently, the research are focus on the effect of exogenous hormones on the plant. The research explore the variation of endogenous hormones in the pulp, seed and skin of Cabernet Sauvignon and effect of exogenous ABA and EBR to these by determined the five endogenous hormone with high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC/MS). The results are as follow:(1) The variation of ABA in pulp and skin showed double-S trend during the developmental process of grape berry. 20 days after anthesis(20 DAA), ABA has a relative high level, then the levels of ABA in pulp and skin decreased before veraison, and then increased until the middle of veraison, then decreased slowly until ripening.(2) During the developmental process of grape berry, the variation trend of GA3 is similar with which of JA. The content of GA3 and JA increased rapidly at fruit expansion stage and decreased before veraison but increased again at veraison, and decreased toward ripening.(3) During the developmental process of grape berry, the variation trend of IAA is similar with which of SA. IAA contents in pulp and skin and SA in pulp, seed and skin increased at fruit expansion stage and decreased before veraison and kept low content. While the content of IAA in seed decreased from the fruit expansion stage and kept low content until ripening.(4) Exogenous application of ABA and EBR can significantly improve the content of reducing sugar in grape berry and decline titrable acid content in grape berry during the development of grape berry. While ABA application did not affect the maturity of grape berry.(5) Exogenous ABA and EBR can improve the content of ABA, GA3, IAA and SA during the development of grape berry except the EBR application decreased ABA content in pulp and ABA application decreased the GA3 cotent in seed and SA content in skin of grape berry.Plant hormones are important to developmental process of grape berry. This research found that content of IAA, GA3 and SA increased at fruit expansion stage and decreased before veraison, it illustrate that these hormones involve themselves into the growth of grape berry. JA and ABA content increased at veraison, which declared that JA and ABA can regulated grape maturation. GA3 content also increased at veraison, it illustrated that GA3 can also regulated grape ripening. Moreover, JA content had a peak at fruit expansion stage, and decreased slowly, it demonstrate that JA can regulated the growth and maturation of grape.
