Corn is one of the most important grain crops in the word, also is the important feed and the raw material for industry. By using scientific and technological methods, researchers always do their best to improve yield and quality of maize. Introgression lines (ILs) was a permanent mapping popμLation, which was developed using advance-backcross and marker-assisted selection, which is a novel materials for quantitative trait locus (QTL) genetic analysis. Comparing with the traditional popuLation, there were more advantages in ILs, such as:i There were knowable genetic background and steady genetic base in ILs.ii The accuracy and sensitivity of QTL.mapped and identified were improved using ILs.iii Genetic effects of QTL can be exactly analyzed and study on the interaction of QTL and environment or QTL were go along using ILs.In this study, through 2~3 cycles self-cross we construct 33 introgression lines (ILs) using Nong-xi531 as the recurrent parent respectively, 33 inbred lines as donor parent. We evaluate the ILs in genetic background, introgression segment length and some other aspects. The shortest segment in ILs is 0.08cM and the longest one is 364.74cM. The average length is 34.41cM and the total is 5986.72cM. Recoverage rate is 80.42%.The result proved that, Nong Xi-531's some shortage of Agronomic Trait can be improved by CSILs, and we had some useful improving inbred lines; During to analyze the QTLs of ear height, leaf angle and plant height, and ascertain their location in the chromosomes which include: 4 QTLs of ear height, 4 QTLs of leaf angle and 6 QTLs of plant height. The 33 ILs could be used to identify and map QTL, to study inheritance of QTL and to pyramid of QTL et al. Those also provided valuable materials for constructing sub-NILs to fine map and clone QTL.
