The Correlation Of The Leptin With Fat Metabolism And Sexual Maturity Of Altay Lambs

Objective: Exploration of the correlation of the leptin between fat metabolism and sexual maturity of Altay lamb, to understand the situation of the leptin can long-term control the feeding,energy and fat metabolism (especially the tail fat) and reproductive function, to provide scientific basis of the Physiology and Endocrinology for selecting and breeding the lean sheep. Method:â‘ Feeding 32 Altay lambs of 4 months under two different levels of nutrition for two months, used ELISA, morphology and biochemistry methods to detect the leptin and adipose, to analysis the correlation;â‘¡Regard Mature as a boundary of the test, used ELISA, RIA and the morphology methods to test the leptin and the sexual hormone at pre and post sexual maturity about 32 Alaty lambs of 6 months and analysis the correlation. Results:â‘ Compared with the low nutrition group, fat weight of the high nutrition group was extremely significant difference (P <0.01), the leptin, body weight and tail fat metabolism enzyme (MDH and ICDH) were significant difference (P <0.05); the related results showed that:there were a positive correlation of the leptin with body weight, tail fat and tail fat metabolism enzyme;â‘¡the lever of the leptin in estrous cycle stages were higher than that in the pre-puberty,reached the highest in metestrus, compared the pre-puberty which was extremely significant difference (P <0.01);the related results showed that the correlation of the leptin and FSH appeared in pre-puberty,which was the strongest in proestrus(r =0.68, (P<0.01).Although the leptin and LH had the similar trajectory, the relationship appeared in metestrus, following FSH,which was the strongest in metestrus(r=0.72,P <0.01).The leptin and P had no correlation;â‘¢compared with the pre-puberty, the weight of the ewe's wombs were extremely significant difference (P =0.01),the weight of the ovarians were significant difference (P <0.05), which both showed positive correlation with the leptin, but the correlation of the leptin and testosterone was a negative. Conclusion:â‘ the leptin can regulate the body weight and adipose of Altay lamb under the high-nutrition diet;â‘¡The leptin have different interactions with sex hormones in different stages of estrous cycle.therefore, the leptin is the starting factor of the sexual maturity;â‘¢the leptin could inhibit the testosterone of the rams, but does not affect the normal estrous of the rams.
