| Video monitoring is extensively applied in all spheres of society, and have achieved positive results. Video monitoring technique will be applied to the forest fire management, which is of great significance. The video monitoring technique can detect forest Fire in key area, assistant fire fighting and improve fire prevention efficiency and fire controlling ability.With forest fire prevention in Beijing as the background,this paper mainly discusses the application of video monitoring technique in forest fire management. According to the survey of the existing forest fire video monitoring system in Beijing Forestry units, this paper analyses the information requirements of different level users in different sectors and their currently facing problems in video monitoring system. Based on the requirements, this paper studies forefront video monitoring technique, comparies similar systems, analyses facing problems and finally proposes the application portfolio of forest fire video monitoring system. This paper also implement a web video sharing system, which embed videos into web pages. Users can view videos of forest fires, the history or the real-time video images through visiting the web site, which meets the forest fire prevention needs of the multi-sharing.Through the forest fire monitoring video system building and implementation, it brings in the following benefits. First, the urban forestry system is able to provide standardized and scientific management models, strengthen the forest fire information management level and improve forest management standards and service capabilities. Second, the urban forestry system is able to grasp the status and trends of forest fires, which provides effective comprehensive analysis, evaluation, decision-making tools and methods to improve emergency response capability of handling the incident. Finally, the urban forestry system achieves office automation, improves office efficiency and enhances the capacity of government agencies. |
