The experiment aim directly to the hot and doubtful points in the current study of feed fiber in geese. We study the effects of different crude fiber levels on the production performance, butcher performance, growth and development of digestive tract and part plasma biological parameters; the effect of different crude fiber levels on appearance utilization rate of energy, protein, calcium, phosphonium, fiber, and their composition; the effect of different crude fiber levels on flowing velocity of chyme in Yangzhou goose aged 5 to 12 weeks. The research results are as follows:1. In the same cases of nurture content such as energy and protein, there are some effects on the production performance, butcher performance, growth and development of digestive tract and part plasma biological parameters in Yangzhou goose fed with different fiber level. The treatment of 3% celluloses′addition got highest foraging with 205.6g per day, The treatment of 4.5% celluloses′addition got the highest feed reward,is4.84. The treatment of 3% and 4.5% celluloses′addition got better butcher performance and higher digestive tract weight/body weight, higher length and weight of cnemis, reasonabler blood serum biological parameters.2. The appearance utilization rate of energy and protein treated with 3% and 4.5% cellulose level is higher than control group and over-addition groop significantly. The appearance utilization rate of calcium traeted with 4.5% fiber level is higher than control group and over-addition group significantly. When treated with different cellulose level, the more cellulose is added, the more appearance utilization rate of phosphonium is displayed. But, while cellulose level is up to 10.5%, the appearance utilization rate of phosphonium decreases sharply, the differentce of group is not significant. In addition, treatment with different cellulose effect on the appearance utilization rate of fiber and its composition to some extent. The more cellulose is added, the lower appearance utilization rate of CF,NDF and hemicellulose is displayed. The appearance utilization rate of CF in control group 1 is higher than groups treated with 7.5% and 10% cellulose level. The appearance utilization rate of NDF in treated groups 1 and 2 is higher than treated groups 5,6, and 7 significantly. The appearance utilization rate of hemicellulose in treated groups 1 is higher than other treated groups significantly. Another, there is no significant effect of different cellulose level on appearance utilization rate of ADF. Increasing feed fiber, the appearance utilization rate of fiber and its composition is decreased. They play important roles in encouraging absorption and utilization of other nutrient substance. Therefore, proper fiber addition profites to absorption of nutrient substance sufficiently.3. In the same case of feed energy, protein, calcium and phosphonium, there are invariabe effect of different fiber level on flowing velocity of chyme in Yangzhou goose. Fiber fed with 3% addition produce a marked effect on decreasing flowing velocity of chyme, but, when fiber fed up to 6% addition, flowing velocity of chyme is increasing in intestinal tract.4.Therefore, when energy is11MJ/kg and crude protein is16.8% in dietary, the proper fiber level is 5.6%-6.8%.
