Quantitative traits are controlled by micro-effect polygene , are influenced by environment easily. Different quantitative traits under the same environment have phenotype correlation,genotype correlation and environment correlation in different degrees ,which are the foundation of indirect selection and multi-quantity trait selection.Organisms as an organic whole, from the physical, developmental and functions are likely to form a function groups formed by a number of the related traits, such as source,flow,library and so on. There exists connection each other between these function groups, and exists linear or non-linear correlation relation.The correlation measurement among traits or traint groups is the foundation to elected population in breed melioration. In previous study,the study of phenotype correlation,genotype correlation and environment correlation was perfect between two traits; As for the correlation between two trait groups , canonical correlation is used to make generalized correlation coefficient .These correlation coefficient also describe the linear correlation between two traits or two trait groups.In this paper, several studies based on previous study will be studied as follows:1. Defines a linear generalized correlation coefficient whose information is no loss,which include phenotype correlation coefficient,genotype correlation coefficient and environment correlation coefficient;and solves its test problem.2. In order to overcome the problem of linear correlation and information loss, and could provide a new ways of non-linear correlation analysis in different traits for breeding operator. A kind of new generalized correlation coefficient based on the four center rank moment will be built ,which can describe the correlation of different variables and vectors ,whose character,sample distribution and hypothesis test have been studied ,which include phenotype correlation coefficient,genotype correlation coefficient and environment correlation coefficient.3. Portrays the correlation measure under certain significance among the variables based on information theory and set theory.
