With the fast development of our country livestock husbandry, the demand to the forage in many areas significantly increased, the area of planting forage in the farmland also significantly increased with this. Sorghum sudanense Stapf. cv. Neinong No.1 was the hybrid of the Sorghum.vulgare Bers and the Sorghum.sudanense (Piper)Stapf by selection and breeding. It was an excellent kind of strong adaptability forage ,its yield and quality was high and good, its use was multiplicity.The patternize production technology of S. sudanense Stapf. cv. Neinong No.1 was still backward, whether forage production or seed production. Its large area spreading was restricted.This experiment was to research the high yield cultivation technique of S.sudanense Stapf. cv. Neinong No.1 from its grass production and seed production, to provide some basises for the large area spreading of S. sudanense Stapf. cv. Neinong No.1.This experiment was divided into two parts that was grass production land and seed production land, both adopted randomly block design of three-factors and five-levels.Three factors is seeding rate, row spacing and fertilizing quantity, according to S.sudanense Stapf. cv. Neinong No.1 normal cultivation level of this three factors when it was planted, reference for the suitable range of this three facters when S.sudanense Stapf. cv. Neinong No.1 was planted,to set five levels . Trough the first choosing excellent experiment, elected 12 more excellent from 125 treatments ,choosing the high yield treatment in this 12 treatments,by variance analysis of grass produce and seed produce amount. The results showed that: when seeding rate was 15.6kg·hm-2, row spacing was 35cm, fertilizing quantity was 120 kg·hm-2,the annual yield of grass was tallest ,can reach 50300kg·hm-2;when seeding rate was 24kg·hm-2, row spacing was 40cm, fertilizing quantity was 90 kg·hm-2,the annual yield of seed was tallest ,can reach 8151.2kg·hm-2.
